Wow, day three is already here; work seems to go by really fast which means I’m having a lot of fun! In the morning we researched podcasting which was great benefit because I had no clue what podcasting was. Later on in the day we interviewed Lillian Hoffecker, one of the reference librarians at the Health Sciences Library. The interview was excellent! I had fun learning about what a reference librarian does on a typical day. I also learned about Mrs. Hoffecker’s education background and her past careers.
In the afternoon my partner and I attended a Medconnect meeting. It was interesting how many libraries came together to help so some problems that occurred in their libraries. Overall today was a fun day and I can’t wait to interview Douglas Stehle, the Head of Access.
